King George Sounds is a six voice acapella ‘man band’ spawned in August 2012.
Their name has nothing to do with the noises you hear when you listen closely to a whiting, but is inspired by the beautiful coastline of their hometown of Albany, on the south coast of Western Australia.
With members drawing on a royal acapella bloodline and some fresh new talent, the King George Sounds show features an emphasis on harmonies fit for a king, vocal beats, some smooth moves, and their own unique brand of humour.
Their repertoire ranges from the Beatles to Daft Punk, all with their own arrangements, and their own stunts. We even throw a few originals into the mix, and sometimes a guitar (which we don’t throw!).
